wemulch.com may not have started in a garage in Silicon Valley,
but it did start in a small workshop in a German village. In 1989, Artur Willibald, a young mechanical engineer founded AHWI Maschinenbau GmbH together with his brother Hubert, which ultimately revolutionized the way of Forestry Mulching and Land Management.

By using a new patented rotor technology
with fixed tools and carbide-tips, forestry applications are able to experience a major efficiency boost while reducing operational costs.
Other agricultural services such as rotovating, military, and NGO applications with mechanical mine clearance benefit from this innovative technology as well.
In 2015, with years of experience as a service manager in forestry applications, biomass harvesters, mulchers, and tracked machines, Jürgen Plessing began working with Artur Willibald at AHWI and throughout its transition to PRINOTH.

In 2018, AHWI, the leader in mechanical and hydraulic mulching attachments, rotovators, stump grinders and carrier vehicles was fully acquired by the South Tyrolean group PRINOTH.
After years of working closely with each other and a mutual vision to connect forestry professionals with clients and end users through a trusted and easy-to-use service platform, Artur Willibald and Jürgen Plessing partnered up to create wemulch.com.

Although for over 30 years, technology and machines have changed, the goal of WEMULCH remains the same:
